In addition to preventing heat stroke on hot days, it's also important to prevent sunburn.
The dangers of sunburn can be more than just the appearance of redness or peeling, but also the various photo-aging reactions and photomorphic reactions that follow.
Sunscreen is mainly against ultraviolet light. Sunlight in the ultraviolet spectral range of 100-400 nanometers, different wavelengths of ultraviolet light penetrate the skin to different depths, and the degree of damage to the skin is also different. In addition to damaging the skin, UV rays also cause damage to other organs such as the eyes and hair.
Strong sunlight can lead to a variety of acute and chronic ophthalmic diseases, such as solar keratitis, climatic keratopathy, cataracts, etc; it may also cause structural and biochemical changes in the hair, causing hair color to become lighter, brittle, and glossy decline. So for the sake of health, not only women, but men should also pay attention to sunscreen.
According to different wavelengths, ultraviolet light in daylight can be divided into: UVC (short-wave ultraviolet), UVB (medium-wave ultraviolet), and UVA (long-wave ultraviolet). UVC is almost absorbed by the ozone layer, UVB is weak in penetration and is the "culprit" of acute skin damage, and UVA is strong in penetration and leads to long-term, chronic damage to the skin such as wrinkles, changes in skin elasticity, and capillary dilatation. So sunscreen is very important, it is worth mentioning that choosing the right sunscreen, if the dosage and time of use is not appropriate, the same can not achieve the desired effect of sunscreen.

In the use of sunscreen products, you should use a standard dosage, generally speaking, pour on the hand about a coin-sized dosage coated full face. It takes a certain amount of time for sunscreen to form a protective film on the surface of the skin after application. Therefore, it is best to go out after 30 minutes of applying sunscreen. In summer, when you sweat a lot, it is easy to destroy the protective film that has been formed. It is recommended that you reapply sunscreen every 1-2 hours when you sweat.
Sensitive skin more need to sunscreen. Sensitive skin thin stratum corneum, poor tolerance, in the choice of sunscreen, in addition to focusing on the product's sunscreen efficacy, but also concerned about its safety.
Once sunburned, this treatment is the most scientific:
1. No obvious pain, only local skin erythema, mild burning sensation: do not need to use any medicine, available drinking water for wet compresses, 2-3 times a day, each 15-20 minutes.
2. Those with erythema, accompanied by obvious pain and blisters within 24 hours need to go to the hospital for treatment. Usually, the doctor will first use a small dose of glucocorticoid to reduce post-sunburn inflammation, followed by local wet compresses.
3. 2-to 3 days after acute sunburn, there will be skin barrier damage, such as flaking, itching, increased pigmentation, etc., the need to strengthen the moisturizing, skin barrier repair, such as the use of non-irritating moisturizing mask, moisturizing lotion.
